Going to Disney Land
A friend helped me to figure out how I am feeling… You know the commercial of 2 little kids who can’t sleep because they are going to Disney Land? Well that is similar to what I am experiencing about getting into my classroom to start the new school year. I have zillions of things going through my mind. Will I be a good teacher? How will I set up my classroom? What kind of classroom rules do we need to have? What are all the routines we need to go over? The list goes on and on. Hopefully on Thursday I will be able to get in my classroom and start working at it.
Home Sweet Home!!
It was so nice to sleep in my own bed last night!
10 hours on a plane is a lot of time. In between my drug induced sleep, I came up with this short list

There are plenty of other things I am thankful for but these are a few to share.
I can't believe it's just about over...
What goes UP must come DOWN. The trip is coming to a close. Today and tomorrow is running around and doing last minute things. I did manage to get on the BA Eye today. I am so glad I did! It was so beautiful! We had a lovely morning and hopefully I will have some good pictures to share. Speaking of pictures... I have maxed out the amount I can upload on my Flickr account. I will take care of that when I get home and post the rest. It's been a great fun filled trip! Question remaining is how are we going to get everything home? Mom's suitcase was stuffed coming. Well it's going to be even more stuffed on the way home. Every place we went she had to purchase a book for a memento. I can only imagine what mine is going to look like. I'm sure the over flow will hit it. It's time to say Toodles. Hopefully my next post will be sent from my room. How I can't wait to sleep in my own bed! Oh and I can't wait to see Irv and Fug. How I miss them!
Bargaining with the Cabbie
Ok your long awaited update. We have been running around like crazy. We went by the Palace and they wouldn't let me in, I wonder why? So instead we went the the Royal Mews (palace stables). I loved all the carriages, but I will stick with my a/c. Then we went to Kew Gardens. It was very beautiful! Leeds Castle was AMAZING! Then mom got a bonus, we were able to go see the Sissinghurst Gardens. Did you know no two gardens are the same? hahah Not sure where the time is flying, but we have less then a week left. Don't know when the next update will be. Mom will be dragging me to see everything she has left on her list. Toodles
P.S. I still have yet to make it to the eye. The weather hasn't been the greatest so it hasn't been worth it. However I still plan on going..
Made You Look!
Neat picture, isn't it? Pass it on a daily basis, and I still have to look twice. I love it! We are having a great time running around. It finally cooled down so we are much happier! Yesterday's trip to Hampton Court was amazing. Today we are going to the Queen's gallery and then a little shopping at Harrods. Still have yet to have High Tea, maybe today... Tomorrow is Kew Garden or Greenwich. I will keep you posted!
London Eye Day 2
Greetings from London!! Mom and I are having great time, running around the city. Yesterday it was extremly hot, so instead of the usual sight seeing, we did some shopping. I was good and did not purchase anything. Today is another day of running around and sight seeing. Today we are going to the Royal Mews and the Silver Vaults. I really want to go to the London Eye. However by looking at this picture, I am having second thoughts. I will not let my fear of heights take over!!! I can do this! Cherrio...
The End of a Chapter
Tonight is the ending of an old chapter. Tomorrow I move on to better things! 35 has not been a complete washout. It was a year filled with great friends, lots of laughs and a few new beginnings. In about 1 hour I will be on my way for another fun filled adventure. I am fortunate to be spending 2 weeks in London. I will say toodles for now and if all goes well you will be hearing from me from another time zone soon.
Camp Zoofari
Four weeks have come and gone. The campers were cute and the staff was awesome! As much as I said I didn't like it, it was all worth it in the end. I look foward to coming back next summer.
